Business Challange:
The receiving building was not configured to support the incoming defence services and required network redesign, secure communications rooms, laboratory facilities and physical alterations before migration could begin.
The programme also required close coordination between business units, engineering teams, MOD stakeholders, security representatives and specialist contractors to minimise downtime for mission-critical operational services.
Delivery Leadership:
Provided delivery leadership for the defence service workstream, working alongside the Real Estate & Facilities Project Manager throughout planning, implementation and transition.
Responsibilities included stakeholder engagement, dependency management, governance, infrastructure readiness, transition planning and coordination across engineering, security, facilities and operational teams.
Outcomes Delivered:
Mission-critical defence services were successfully relocated into the new operational environment during a planned weekend migration.
Operational continuity was maintained, no rollback was required, and any issues were successfully resolved through forward fixes, enabling a secure and operationally ready environment.
